Travel Clean

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Traveling is one thing I love doing. I can travel by land, water or air. I have been to different parts of the country already but nothing beats an old school on the road trip. I love to go cross country and I am thankful that every turnpike I get to drive through has rest stops. Rest stops are utterly helpful. Hello? Who can take a long travel without having to get off for hours? I love the rest stops with not only comfort rooms but food stalls as well. What a comfort for every traveler.

As soon as I get to a rest stop I go straight to the comfort room and I noticed this one rest stop which definitely provides clean comfort. They have automatic hand dryers that do not require hand contact. I find that real useful considering how many people stop by there. Who would want to be in contact with such number of people? I definitely don’t. So, out of curiosity I asked the management and found out that their source of restroom materials was from a company that also provides waterless urinals. I find that really suitable for rest stops that provides comfort to travelers. How I wish every travel stops have the same company provider.

Good News for Mothers

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

It is very good news for mothers like me that safety supplies are now available online at wholesale prices. Nowadays, households need more than the family’s basic necessities. They also need safety supplies in order to make sure that their home will be true sanctuary for the whole family. One thing that also makes online shopping more convenient is that, deliveries are done within 24 hours. It is not only affordable, it also fast. For working mother like me, these kinds of services are like miracles that makes our life bearable.

Also, since I can’t personally clean our home, I give my house helps cleaning products I trust. Since they are also available online at the wholesale prices, buying cleaning products I trust and like is also very easy. Although I know that motherhood is not only about keeping my children safe 24/7, at least I know that even if I am not with them all the time, I still give them the care they deserve.

Of course, I still make sure that I read to them bedtime stories every now and then and drive them to school once in a while. So, even if I’m working, I still try to be the best mother they could ever wish for.

One Creative Alternative

What Current Events News do you know?  Is that for real or a story made? –To begin a conversation, we raised these questions. Safe question, that is.  We had disputes when we let our different views clashed against each other’s opinion. Others called us “crazy” because we fight against each other just because of the irrational subject. Funny, isn’t it? We don’t want that to happen again so we found another creative way in starting a conversation. At first, we individually shared the ideas we have in mind about the current events. We update ourselves with each other’s sharing. It was very effective. That is our group – beautiful women with brilliant minds – oh well, that’s how we feel anyway!

Once, we were just making fun of searching our question on the internet until we found the official website. The website nourished us with the latest news. Every topic is interesting and the articles were impressive. Nowadays, we still raise the same question but the answer is not from them, but from the stories and news they read from the site, updating each other from directly from the site though. Topic is continuous because the site is updated daily. Happy to have my girl friends, enjoy each other’s company. Glad to have the site, it makes us closer than ever.

Very Happy Kitchen Remodeled Clients

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

If you are searching for a kitchen remodeler Raleigh area of service, then, i suggest to you this very fine contractor who designed my friend’s restaurant kitchen last year. They are simply excellent – the way they work, how they handle their customers and the rate of their projects  – they are the only contractor in Raleigh who gives customer satisfaction 200%, in my opinion.

I liked what they did with my friend’s kitchen. They put in custom made granite materials as counter tops, which can also be used directly as a chopping area even without the chopping board. It doesn’t create slicing marks when being used as such unlike other companies who charge the same amount and yet install cheap slabs.

They have also installed functional cabinets and that does not stain nor leave a peeled-off paint effect. The floors are ceramic; no slip; no stain; no problems. They will offer you the best and will give you what you want since that is their motto.

The sinks and faucets they installed were top of the line; pure aluminum and very durable. It is not prone to dent nor does it crack. At least that’s what my friend says over and over again. I love my kitchen! – she says out loud. Indeed, this is a pure-bred Raleigh home remodeling company that knows how to make their clients ecstatic every single time.

Jesting Shirts as Tokens

Monday, May 10th, 2010

I am a very hands-on uncle. I always have a say on younger sister’s daughter’s life. You see, Isabela is the first grandchild on the family. She is the star of family gatherings. She always radiates beauty. As an uncle, I am a bit obsessive-compulsive about her. I give my sister a ring almost every day to check on her. This attitude stems from the fact that my sister is a single mom. And I took it upon myself to take care of them even the tiniest detail of finding baby t shirts for my niece. I know that my sister feels suffocated but she understands the protectiveness we give the baby.

For a Catholic family, the baby’s baptismal or should we say, a baby’s christening is very important since it’s’ the baby entry point to Catholicism. The baptismal reception is not complete without giving tokens to the guests as a form of gratitude for coming to the ceremony. Baptismal tokens are always predictable. Towels, pens, cakes or something has to do with the baby. But it crossed my mind that what will adults do with baby things unless they have a baby.

So, I came up with the idea of giving funny t shirts for guests. And wrote a note on each of the boxes: Wear this on my first birthday, Isabela. The guests liked it very much. For those of you who are curious where I got those shirts. I got the funny t shirts from a nice online store. Their t shirts are in various designs and you can choose any puckish t shirts that you can think of.
