Approval Of Purell From The Plumbing Fixtures Company

Monday, November 30th, 2009

When the maintenance man in charge of ordering and installing plumbing fixtures called and asked if I could approve an order for purell, I asked him why he needed to have that. He let me know that he was told by the superintendant to put purell bottles in every bathroom in the school. I guess that a lot of the parents had been calling and asking what kinds of things were being done to help combat germs in the school.

The superintendent along with a group of teachers already had put purell in every teacher’s room and the kids a lot were required to put in on their hands before getting into the lunch line in the cafeteria. I guess that they thought that one more spot to put it would make the parents feel better.

I approved the purchase for the purell, and the maintenance man told me that he would be ordering it from the plumbing fixtures company that he uses for just about everything else that is associated with the fifteen bathrooms throughout the school. I knew that it was only a matter of time before all of the other maintenance men called from the other schools to get their purchases approved.

My Buddy And I Are Playing Bingo Promotions Online

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

I was excited when my buddy told me that there were sites that would let you play bingo online and they offered some really cool bingo promotions. I had no idea what that meant exactly but it sounded like a lot of fun. In fact I figured that we could just both play at the same time at his house, one of us on the desktop and one of us on the laptop.

It would be just like we were playing at one of the big bingo halls in town but we would be able to watch television, eat whatever we wanted and even drink whatever we wanted. So, we set up a time over the weekend to play bingo online together in his apartment. I brought tons of food and a cool movie for us to watch at the same time. I knew that this new bingo promotions site was going to become a big deal and we would probably start playing all the time on Saturday nights if we won. Neither of us liked to do anything that we did not win at. In fact, we both dropped out of the men’s basketball league we had joined over the summer because our team was horrible and lost nearly every game that we played.

I Paid For Their Term Life Insurance

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

I just purchased some term life insurance for my daughter and her family. She and I have always been one to be prepared for anything, and when I found out that she and her husband could not afford term life insurance, I paid her premium for her. The term life insurance will be good for twenty years as long as the premiums are paid.

I got some other quotes for different kinds of life insurance from my insurance agent but it seemed that term life insurance was the cheaper way to go and then after the twenty years, the kids will all be grown and they can figure out what they want for themselves at that time.

One of the other kinds of insurance was no medical life insurance which would have been a little easier to get but more expensive. Since I was paying for it, my daughter and her husband insisted that we get the least expensive coverage that was out there. I was happy to do it for them and even gave them some literature of the other kinds of insurance that are out there just in case in the future, they want some additional coverage and they can afford it.

My Old Funny T Shirts From College

Friday, November 20th, 2009

I was excited to see that my son liked all of the old clothes that I had kept from my college days. I had tons of t shirts from concerts and also had lots of funny t shirts that were about partying. Since he was getting ready to head off to college, I thought that it would be a good time to get all the boxes out of my parent’s basement and see if he wanted any of them.

He loved the funny shirts and could not believe how many concert t shirts I had of some of the coolest rock bands of all time. I had gone to a different concert every weekend during my college days since I had a buddy who worked at the local radio station and got free tickets to every event that was within a hundred miles of our school.

The funny t shirts were just something that everyone wore back then. Most of them that had to do with partying, were bought somewhere on campus. There were also a couple of shops in town that sold funny shirts to all the college kids back then. I am so happy to share all of my t shirts and memories with my son.
