Jewelry for Lifelong Dream

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

Ever since we were kids my brother has always dreamt of visiting Paris one day and as we grew older I expected him to maybe forget all about it. But he didn’t which was unfortunate because he decided not to go to college and instead work at our uncle’s garage which recently closed because of the recession.

Seeing that his birthday was coming up and he needed something to lift his spirits so he can move on and look for another job, I decided to sell jewelry I owned and buy him a ticket to Paris. He was so ecstatic with my gift and I knew I had given him new hope in life.

Good thing I found this company that I can sell gold to and they gave me more than what I thought the value of my jewelry was. It was indeed a very great deal I got. Not only was I able to buy my brother his gift of a lifetime, I was also able to buy myself the new music player that I’ve always eyed in the mall.

Sell Old Jewelry to Finance her Moms Treatments

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

My friend needed the money to finance the medical treatments of her mom.  It was imperative for the mom to undergo treatments the soonest possible time so that the cancer cells would not spread and do more damage to her body.  Since I could not spare the amount that she needed, we thought of other ways of raising the amount so that she can have her mom treated right away.  I brought up the idea to sell old jewelry that she did not really use. I even told her that her mom might have some of those that she would want to dispose of.

She like the idea so she asked her mom if it was all right for her to sell jewelry that she really did not use.  Her mom gave the blessing that she needed and we immediately sorted out the pieces that we thought were of high value.  But we decided to sell the broken ones first to this website that we visited.  The money they sent in exchange for the broken ones were more than what we expected.  The easy way of selling the pieces to them encouraged us to sell the remaining ones to them to raise more money for her mom’s treatment.

Sell Silver for your Family

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

Financial difficulties in a family are inevitable.  That is what I told myself after experiencing several financial challenges last year due to the global crisis. The business company that I worked for wasn’t earning that much that they had to cut hours of work, so that would mean lesser pay.  My kid got sick a couple of times because of the ever changing weather condition and I had to have him hospitalized.  My husband too had to give up one job because he had been laid off. It was difficult to finance a growing family.  So my husband thought of giving up what her mother gave him, he had to sell silver jewelries that his mom left him before she died.

It took him time to consider selling silver but he thought that it was the best way to help us meet our needs and our financial restraints. When he sold them to an online company, I was relieved from the worries and financial burden. It was a sense of relief on our part that we wouldn’t be thinking as to where to get the money for our daily needs.

Sell Coins for My New Phone

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

My mom always tells me to work hard to get everything what I want in my life. Even it is a simple thing as long as I work to get it then its okay. I was still a student at that time when I was fascinated with the latest trend of mobile phone. I wanted to have that phone too. But when I saw the price, bang! It was very expensive.

So what I did to have that luxurious mobile phone was I collected and I sell coins. So after 3 months of doing it, I saved the exact amount of that phone. So I hurriedly tell my mom, that I already have my own money.

From that moment, one of favorite thing to do is collecting and then selling old coins. It was super fun, and in that way also helps me a lot in increasing the amount of my savings. And I am very sure that when I become a mom soon, I will teach my children to value each centavo even if it is old, because that what mom taught us too.

Selling Diamonds to the Right Shop

Monday, June 6th, 2011

During one of our sleep over parties, my girlfriends and I were talking about relationship with the guys that they were going out with. I was surprised when one of them admitted that she and her boyfriend broke up not long ago. We thought that she of all people was doing well with her boyfriend and we even saw an engagement ring on her finger just a few months ago. She said that she already sell engagement ring, when they broke up because there wasn’t any hope of the two of them getting back together again.

We tried to ask her the reason of their break up, but she wouldn’t tell us. We didn’t press on the matter and decided to help cheer her up instead. I always wondered on how much money someone can get if they sell diamonds to a jewelry shop, so I asked her that question. She said that it depends on the jewelry shop that you are going to sell it to. She said that the store was recommended to her by her sister (whom has sold diamond jewelries in the past) and she got a good appraisal from them. Maybe I’ll try to sell some of my scrap jewelry one of these days and maybe I can even get a decent price from them.

Why Sell Silver

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

Most people who collect jewelry think that silver is less valuable than gold or diamonds. This is definitely true in terms of its monetary value. However, when it comes to fashion accessories silver is preferred by more people because they blend better with more styles of clothing. It’s why selling silver is such a lucrative business these days. In fact, many business experts believe that it’s easier to make a fortune with silver than other precious metals.

Shops that sell silver can attest to how easy it is to attract the attention of buyers. First, silver jewelry is priced much lower than even the cheapest gold which means more people can afford it. Second, silver has a wider spectrum of colors it can be matched with in terms of personal style so it’s a much easier decision to make for shoppers.

Finally, because they are cheaper compared with gold people can buy different pieces all at the same time. And they can always add some more to their collection without worrying about burning a hole in their pockets.

Selling Old Silver Dollar Coins

Friday, March 4th, 2011

There was a time in my life, when selling silver was the only thing that I can do in order to buy the things that I wanted. When I first started to sell old silver dollar coins, I had a hard time because there were only a few places where I can sell them. I tried the internet and browsed for possible things that might help me with my problem. I found out that there was this coin broker that buys old and rare coins for a good price.

I decided to give him a visit and was not disappointed. He gave me a good price for my collection and all my effort was worth it. I was able to buy the things that I wanted and I also helped out in paying the bills in the house. My parents were very understanding and they didn’t get angry at me, in what I did. I still have a few coins in my collection and I told myself that I better not use them, unless the situation calls for it.

Is It Safe to Sell Diamonds and Other Valuables Online

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

With the difficulty of the times, it is inevitable that you sell your valuables especially when you are in emergency situations.  That is a learning I had from my mom when she told me it would be good to invest in jewelries like diamonds and the like because when you need fast and quick money you can either pawn or sell them.  True enough, when I faced foreclosure notices from the bank, to sell diamonds was my salvation.

A lot of friends advised me to go to a local jeweler to get good money for the diamonds I had.  But my husband told me, he found an online site that pays three to five times than what was the local jeweler was offering me.  But I was a bit skeptical if it was safe.  So I gave them a call and in less than 24 hours I got a gold kit and my engagement ring was appraised.  It had a big value and my check was delivered in less than 24 hours.  The process was indeed safe and I didn’t regret when I decided to sell engagement ring, that’s with my husband’s consent of course.

Selling Gold Jewelry Is Worth It

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

My daughter was about to celebrate her 7th birthday in a month’s time. Preparations were underway but an unfortunate thing happened. The money that was supposed to be spent for her birthday was diverted to some other pressing financial concerns in the house. Knowing my daughter’s expectations about the party, I had to move heaven and earth for that birthday to happen. And where am I supposed to get the money? Suddenly, it dawned on me what happened to my friend before. She made money by selling gold jewelry. I just wasn’t sure where she sold it.

I knew that it might be a long shot but just to make sure, I gave it a try. I took some of my old gold and tried to sell gold online. I was not really expecting much it but I got the surprise of my life when the money came and the gold was worth more than thousands of dollars. It was in fact more than what I expected. I was very blessed that time that the idea came to my mind. What made it more refreshing is that the company I contacted online was an honest one.

Double the Treasure

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

This online sell old jewelry helped us in our financial concerns. What can a 30-years trusted jeweler can do to your jewelries? See and try it four yourself. Sign up and order gold kits from them and the next day you know, you will receive a check.

I was in the middle of frustration then; my father told me that he cannot send me to school due to financial problems. My grandmother gave me her treasures – her old jewelry box when she was still alive. She told me to open it in times of great need and when I opened it, lots of jewelries surprised me. Fast forward, I sold it.

I also planned to sell wedding ring  of my great grandparents at the same or higher value in the same company when that kind of crisis comes again. Their gemologist assured me that its value will not decrease and I can even sell it in a higher value because the diamonds around the ring are marquise diamonds; known to be very expensive as well.

Now, I’m a graduating student of the most popular university. I owe and offered this to my grandmother for entrusting me her treasures. I promised to make her treasures doubled after my graduation.
