I am an insurance agent. I’ve been in this job for 8 years and I’m proud to say that. I am most proud that I belong to the most-trusted insurance company there is. You know what made me join their company? It’s the fact that my brothers are truck drivers. And our insurance company covered for the trucking company they work for. This commercial trucking insurance business is not just about insuring the client’s deliveries. It’s about placing value in two of the most important investment—the truck and its driver.
Yes, trucks are big and they look so powerful on the road. Cars on the freeway fear cruising alongside a big machine are intimidated by it. But just because they are huge it doesn’t mean they need the coverage of a trucking insurance. It is actually the contrary because the damage a collision course with a truck can be very fatal; not just to the company and the client but to the driver and the one in collision with it. I know personally. It helped our family when our eldest had an accident. And it was the experience that made me decide who I am now.
