Website promotion using the inbound text links

In discussions regarding link building and tutorial and training classes you will often come across tow terms, inbound and outbound. Inbound text links are those that link other sites to your site. Outbound text links are those that link your site to others. The two are like the two sites of the coin.

The vital difference between the two is that with compounding of inbound links you earn votes on the web and thereby page rank and search engine optimization. On the other hand with outbound links you do not get such page rank. Inbound links bring up visitors to your web site. This provides free advertising for your site. When such links are as powerful as the edu text links the linking could be extremely useful in generating higher traffic and consequentially higher revenue.

Outbound links are those links that redirect visitors visiting your site to other sites. You may have affiliation with other sites and link up with them. Various methods of such outbound linking are adopted by the sites. Some link quite freely while others do not link at all. Yet others link in a manner that opens another browser window.

How is the outbound links relevant? You should understand that your inbound links are other site’s outbound link only. It therefore depends on their attitude how they are going to deal with you with such links. You should also be very careful while you buy links to select only those sites that allow their outbound links to work freely.
